The much-awaited release date of Rajinikanth’s action-packed film, “Vettaiyan,” has finally been announced. The movie is set to hit theaters worldwide on October 10, 2024. What makes this release even more exciting is that it will clash with Suriya’s fantasy drama, “Kanguva.”
“Vettaiyan” features Rajinikanth in the lead role, portraying a supercop. The ensemble cast includes Amitabh Bachchan, Fahadh Faasil, Rana Daggubati, and others. Directed by T. J. Gnanavel, the film will be released in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, and Kannada.
Lycra Productions, the production house behind “Vettaiyan,” shared the news on social media, creating a buzz among fans. The poster reveals Rajinikanth in his cop avatar, ready to take on the big screen.
In an earlier conversation, Rajinikanth hinted at the release date, saying, “Vettaiyan will release for Dussehra. I have completed my portions, and the shooting with other cast members is still ongoing.”
Meanwhile, Suriya’s “Kanguva” has been eagerly anticipated since its announcement. With both films releasing on the same day, cinephiles are in for an exhilarating clash at the box office.
